Sullen

How does one say goodbye when
it's not time to go?How does one just stop the feeling when tears begin to flow? How does one keep going on though life seems at an end?It will pass others say, there's happiness round the bend.Seems many lifetimes she has waited for the pain to leave, and still there is this burning mere mortals can't conceive. What may befall on others, seems to pass her by. When will it be her turn when she won't need to cry?
Pity not this foolish girl this is the path she chose. Hearbreak was the shortest route the other path was froze. Will she feel warmth again? Will she feel the sun? Will she feel a loved one's arms when the day is done? Will a fragrance smell as sweet as it did before the day, this foolish girl took a special love and threw it all away.
Is there an answer some where close will she have to search? Will she find true happiness or is this some cruel curse? Will she learn her lesson or fall way back behind? It's when there's so much waiting the thoughts stay in her mind.Once the spirit's broken I am not so sure it will heal.
Love,oh love come back to me,
I have the need to feel. 06/08/07 ~~alilbit~ (c)

Traffic has become increasingly congested and tempers flare as slower drivers occupy what has been historically referred to as the 'fast lane.' It's time to get that Left Lane back!It is our considered opinion that not only will traffic move more smoothly and more quickly once the Left Lane is used in the way it has been designed but also headaches, frustration, bad tempers and road rage will all be greatly reduced when this pressure valve is released. It's time to reduce this unnecessary stress. It's time that... Left Lane Drivers Unite!

Next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature isn't just how you like it, think about how things used to be. Here are some facts about the 1500s. Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. There is no evidence that June was a popular month to get married until the last 100 years. Flowers have been associated with weddings since the earliest times, probably as symbol of fertility. Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children — last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it — hence the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water." This explanation makes no sense when you consider the expression and its meaning. Additionally bathing was so rare that there were no bathing tubs.

1,683 Guitarists Play 'Smoke On Water'
More than 1,680 guitar players turned out, tuned up and took part in what organizers say was a world record rendition of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" — a song that was the first many of them ever learned.
Some came from as far away as California and Germany on Sunday to take part in a Kansas City radio station's effort to break a Guinness world record for the most people playing the same song simultaneously. The record had been 1,323 people playing the same song in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1994. Link

~~Things Dogs Should Remember~~

I will not play tug-of-war with Dad's underwear when he's on the toilet.

The garbage collector is NOT stealing our stuff.

I do not need to suddenly stand straight up when I'm lying under the coffee table.

I will not roll my toys behind the fridge.

I must shake the rainwater out of my fur BEFORE entering the house.

I will not eat the cats' food, before or after they eat it.

I will stop trying to find the few remaining pieces of clean carpet in the house when I am about to throw up.

~~Things Cats Should Remember~~

I must perfect a death stare to give my human every time I am disturbed.
If I vomit on the carpet after overeating yet again I must stand up and walk away without the slightest hint of a care.
I should not assume the patio door is open when I race outside to chase leaves.
If I put a live mouse in my food bowl, I should not expect it to stay there until I get hungry.
The guinea pig likes to sleep once in a while. I will not watch him constantly.
If I bite the cactus, it will bite back.
I will not stand on the bathroom counter, stare down the hall, and growl at nothing (especially right after my human has finished watching "The X-Files").

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

No one has ever loved anyone the way everyone wants to be loved.

What happens after we collect the underpants?
Any resemblence between Kenny and the Unilever Brand Key are purely coincidental.
A friend reminded me this weekend me of a clip from South Park in which the underpant gnomes are stealing all the underpants from the town. This is stage one in a three stage plan in which the third stage is to make a huge amount of profit. The problem is that there is no stage two.
How redolent of the vast majority of advertising campaigns.
